How do I organise a display or event in the Main Library?
The Main Library foyer events, displays and consultation space is a flexible, pop‑up venue suitable for small events, promotional activities, consultations and displays. The is located just inside the Main Library entrance, near the Library Service Desk, and is available for use by both students and staff for activities that benefit the University community.
Before booking, all users must review the guidelines for use of the space to ensure their activity is appropriate for the Library environment.
Student events
- Request for event approval must submitted in advance using the Student Events online form.

- Staff may select a date and time on the space booking page submit a booking request directly:
- All staff bookings are subject to approval by the Library.
