Question:

How do I print legislation?

To print legislation either:

  1. send it to the print shop through the online printing website, or
  2. take your material on a USB stick to the Print Shop.

Please note that the Print shop does not have saved copies of legislation, nor are they able to download it.

Use authorised legislation websites instead of Google to avoid printing out of date legislation. These can be found on the Bond University Library research guide, Law: Primary Resources - Researching and accessing legislation.

Periodically the Office of the Queensland Parliamentary Counsel issues updated versions of legislation. These are known as consolidations.

For example, The Uniform Civil Procedure Rules 1999 (Qld) (‘UCPR’) has been updated several times in the past few months.

If you search for the UCPR you might find a version current as at 24 November 2017.

This is no longer the most up to date version. (see below)

  • Reprint current from 24 November, 2017 to 23 August, 2018
  • Reprint current from 19 April, 2019 to 11 July, 2019
  • Reprint current from 12 July, 2019

For further assistance please consult a Law Librarian.
