In all Library spaces and the Multimedia Learning Centre please keep a safe distance of 1.5m apart; 1 person per 4m2

Status Services

Ask A Librarian

  • Online chat is available - look for the Need Help button throughout the Library website
  • Individual consultations are now only conducted via virtual meetings or telephone
  • Questions can be submitted via email, question form, SMS or leave a voicemail message using the contacts listed on this page
  • FAQs - plenty of answers to be found online
  • Faculty Librarians can also be contacted via Teams

Buildings - Law Library

  • Valid swipe card access - See opening hours link
  • No study room bookings - Level 3 is closed

Buildings - Main Library

  • Valid swipe card access - See opening hours link
  • Use the telephone at the service desk to call for assistance
  • Bookshop is permanently closed - See textbook link
  • Papyrus cafe is open
  • Small group study rooms are for use by 1 person at a time. Large group study rooms may be used by 2 people at a time.

Buildings - Multimedia Learning Centre

  • Global Links Room and equipment cannot be booked
  • Studio is bookable, for use by one person at a time

Document Delivery

  • Some delays being experienced with supply from other Libraries
  • Requests for physical items are not being processed

Loans & Hold Requests

  • Due dates have been extended. Items required for Reserve or 7 Day are due 25th May and all other items are due 1st June.

  • Printshop open with valid swipe card access into the Main Library
