Question:
I want to use an article we don't have access to in my Resource List, what do I do?
Add an item with the details of the article and use the 'Scan for E-Reserve' tag. This will alert the library to request a copy.
Steps:
- Starting from your subject in iLearn, open the Books & Tools menu and select Resource List.
- Once the list loads, click the Add button and select Search the library:
- Search Bond Library Resources and select the checkbox to include items without full-text access:
- Add the item to the list and add the Scan for E-Reserve tag:
- The Library team will now request a copy from another library. The digital copy will be uploaded to the item once it's been received.
You can also create the item manually or via Citeit!. As long as you add the Scan for e-Reserve tag, the Library team will know to request a copy.
If you have the digital object identifier (DOI) entering it into the metadata will automatically update other fields with correct data via CrossRef. Saves time when creating items manually.
