Question:
What should I do if I'm having problems accessing full text of articles?
Library Search says it's available, but link does not work
If you are unable to access the full text of an article which says Available online in Library Search, please use the feedback button on the right side of the page.
This will automatically tell us the URL of the record you are reporting and we can see the citation details.
Add any explanation you like. Include your email address if you would like us to get back to you.
No full text access in a database or scholarly site
If you found the article in a database but can't access the full text please check Library Search to see if it's available in another database, or platform.
- Try a simple or advanced search, OR
- Try Citation Search (menu link at top of Library Search) - this is easy if you have a DOI (digital object identifier) or PubMed ID. With these identifiers you don't have to type in any other details. Just submit and it will find the rest of the citation details for you.
Library Search will either show you alternative links, or may show you a Get it for me request option. Sign in to request the article.
We also recommend using LibKey Nomad browser extension to simplify accessing full text without having to visit Library Search. It is available for use on your personal devices as well as Bond computers.
Still can't access or request it?
Please submit a question via the form and we will get back to you. Please include the citation details, a description of the problem and any error messages you are seeing.
Use your Bond email address to help us diagnose the access issue. You are welcome to attach a screenshot.
