Question:

What are the copyright limits when requesting digital copies?

When requesting a copy of a resource for your research or study, the amount you can ask for is limited by copyright law.

You can request:

  • an article from a journal issue
  • more than one article if required for the same topic of research or course of study
  • one chapter or 10% from a book

The Library cannot copy an entire book for you.
